Frisking is the New Normal

Special Operation Group (SOG) and Central Reserve Police Force Personnel (CRPF) frisk Kashmiris during a surprise ‘Check Operation’ at Lal Chowk in Srinagar on 18 January 2022. Security has been tightened ahead of the Republic Day celebrations to be held at the Cricket Stadium in Srinagar.
