DefSAT 2024 Charts Visionary Path for India’s Defence Space Capabilities

*New Delhi, February 7-9, 2024* — DefSat 2024, a prestigious conference at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, is poised to unveil a strategic blueprint for the future readiness of India’s defence space capabilities. The conference aims to catalyse immediate actions and chart a coordinated strategic roadmap by bringing together visionaries, thought leaders, and key stakeholders from government agencies, armed forces, policymakers, space industry leaders, technology innovators, and diplomats.

 

A centrepiece of DefSat 2024 is the exclusive IndSpace Exercise, a simulated, scenario-based, interactive tabletop wargame conducted in collaboration with esteemed Defence Think Tanks and DefSat knowledge partners CENJOWS, CAPS, CLAWS, and NMF. This exercise scrutinises the space industry’s capability to respond to contingencies and crises, with active participation from Services, MoD, ISRO, DRDO, INSPACe, NSIL, NDMA, Niti Aayog, Industry, Startups, and Academia.

 

The conference is dedicated to fostering a modern and future-ready sector in alignment with the vision set forth by the Prime Minister and the Defence Ministry. It aims to safeguard India’s aspirations and interests while embracing a visionary Space Policy and the New Telecom Bill.
