Nikhil Joshi Appointed Managing Director of Boeing Defence India

Boeing has announced the appointment of Nikhil Joshi as the managing director of Boeing Defence India (BDI), reinforcing the company’s commitment to enhancing its operations and growth strategy in India.

With over 25 years of industry experience, Joshi brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his new role. He will be based in New Delhi and will oversee current and future programs for BDI aimed at bolstering the mission readiness and modernization of India’s defence forces.

Reporting to Salil Gupte, president of Boeing India and South Asia, Joshi will collaborate closely with Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and Boeing Global Services (BGS) to advance Boeing’s presence and support capabilities in India.

Joshi’s background encompasses over two decades of service with the Indian armed forces in the aviation branch of the Indian Navy. Prior to joining Boeing, he served as the country manager for Eaton Aerospace, where he played a pivotal role in expanding Eaton’s business footprint in India.
