BEL Secures Orders Valued at ₹2,759.15 Crores

Bengaluru, December 22, 2023: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence PSU, has received orders totalling ₹2,673 Crores from Goa Shipyard Limited (valued at ₹1,701 Crores) and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (valued at ₹972 Crores). These orders are for the supply of 14 types of sensors intended for use on the Next Generation Offshore Patrol Vessels (NGOPV). The involvement of BEL includes collaboration with electronics and associated industries, notably MSMEs, serving as sub-vendors. The equipment manufactured by BEL contributes to the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ programme.

Additionally, the company has received supplementary orders valued at ₹86.15 Crores since the last disclosure on December 15, 2023, encompassing miscellaneous Spares and services.

This brings BEL’s cumulative order value for the current financial year to ₹25,935.15 Crores.
