BSF Shoots Two, Prevents Smuggling of Drugs
On the basis of intelligence reports, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel on the intervening night of September 8 and 9 shot dead two suspected smugglers who were trying to enter the Indian territory from the Pakistani side. The incident happened in Rajasthan’s Khayaliwala, Sriganganagar.
According to BSF, the post-operation search of the area led to the recovery of the bodies of the suspected intruders along with arms and ammunition, approximately 8 kg of drugs, a night vision device, Pakistani currency worth Rs 13,000 and an identity card with the name Shahbaz Ali written on it.
