Seminar Titled ‘Excellence Through Maintainability in Air Force’ Held

A seminar on Excellence through Maintainability in Aviation was conducted as part of Golden Jubilee celebration of Central Servicing Development Organization Bangalore at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Management Academy (New Campus) in Bengaluru.

The Seminar titled ’ Excellence through Maintainability in Aviation’ was inaugurated by Senior Maintenance Staff Officer, Head Quarter Training Command, Air Vice Marshal A G Kshirsagar. Senior officers of Indian Air Force, Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and other leading aviation industries attended the seminar.




The seminar’s main focus was on Maintainability aspects of indigenously designed and developed aircraft, Reliability and Quality aspects in the field of military aviation. The designers, manufacturers and users were brought together to share their ideas. A compendium on Maintenance Evaluation was released during the seminar.

Central Servicing Development Organization is a premier unit of Indian Air Force located in the premises of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited Bangalore since 1968, and is responsible for Maintenance Evaluation of Western and Indigenous Fleets of aircraft and preparation of servicing schedules for its maintenance by IAF personnel. Unit plays a key role in improving the existing fleets and supports in design and development of indigenous aircraft.
