Rolls-Royce Applauds Emirates’ Purchase of 15 Trent XWB-84 Powered A350-900s

Rolls-Royce (LSE: RR., ADR: RYCEY) proudly announces Emirates’ order for 15 Trent XWB-84 powered A350-900s, marking a total order of 130 engines to commence delivery in 2025.

 

This reaffirms Emirates’ confidence in the unmatched efficiency and reliability of this aircraft/engine combination, setting industry benchmarks.

 

The addition of these engines will complement Emirates’ existing fleet of 132 Trent 900s. Rob Watson, President of Rolls-Royce – Civil Aerospace, stated:

 

“Today’s announcement demonstrates our customers’ unwavering trust in the Trent XWB’s capability to support their expanding operations. Its proven reliability and versatility make it the ideal choice for Emirates as it continues its network expansion.”

 

HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, expressed:
