K’taka & Goa NCC Directorate Conducts R-Day Camp

The Inter Group Competition Republic Day Camp (IGC-RDC) of Karnataka & Goa NCC Directorate was conducted at Christ University Kengeri Campus from 01 Nov to 10 Nov 2018. The camp was conducted by 9 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Bengaluru under the aegis of NCC B Group Bengaluru.

Over 600 cadets from the various groups like Bellary, Belgaum, Mangalurur, Mysuru, Group A Bengaluru and Group B Bengaluru took part in this event.  Selection of cadets for representing NCC Directorate Karnataka & Goa Directorate was also done at this camp.  The groups competed with vigour and enthusiasm in Drill, Line Area, Flag Area, Culturals and Best Cadet (BC) Competitions.




Brig. DM Purvimath, Deputy Director General, NCC Directorate, Karnataka & Goa Directorate addressed the Cadets congratulating all of them for putting in their best efforts.  He exhorted them to continue their good work and always strive to uphold the lofly ideals set forth by NCC and contribute positively towards Nation building.  Brig Purvimath gave away the Prizes to the Winners. Bangalore B Group were declared the winners of the IGC-RDC.

Col S Nandakumar Commander NCC B Group, Bengaluru, Col P Rajnarayan, Camp Commandant and Lt Col Kila Singh, Deputy Camp Commandant were responsible for conducting the IGC-RDC Camp 2018.
