Israel Aerospace Industries Appoints Dror Bar as Vice President and CEO of ELTA

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), a global leader in aerospace and defence, has appointed Dror Bar as Vice President and CEO of ELTA Systems. This decision follows an extensive and rigorous search process, conducted in line with the procedures for appointing CEOs in government-owned companies.

Dror Bar was selected as the most suitable candidate after a thorough evaluation. The appointment was unanimously approved by ELTA’s board of directors, which is chaired by IAI’s CEO Boaz Levy. The recommendation of the search committee, led by IAI Chairman Amir Peretz, was also adopted by the board.

The appointment of Dror Bar is subject to approval by the Appointments Review Committee, Israel’s Minister of Defence, and the Minister for Regional Cooperation, who heads the Government Companies Authority. Until these approvals are granted, the appointment will be considered temporary.
