Thank you for your patronage to FORCE. Your commitment has sustained us through the last few difficult years. It is because of your support that we feel encouraged to share with you the problems that we have been facing at FORCE.

 

You would have noticed that since 2020, advertising has slowed down. A lot of factors beyond our control caused this slow-down: Covid (2020-2021), Russia-Ukraine war (since February 2022) and Israel Gaza war (since October 2023). However, the biggest factor has been the change in the government of India’s procurement policies. With the focus on Make in India, tendering for programmes stopped, thereby disincentivizing global companies from advertising.

 

Yet, we continued to bring out issue after issue without compromising on quality to give you the best we could under very difficult circumstances. However, we are now unable to print FORCE. The overall inflation has increased the cost of the paper and distribution of the magazine. In the absence of advertisements, we are unable to absorb this cost. Hence, we are forced to take the hard decision of going digital from this month.

 

From September onwards, the monthly issues of FORCE will be available here, as well as in the form of print-ready PDFs. If you have not registered on the website yet, please do so. A subscription page reflecting new realities will be live soon.

 

This cost-cutting will not impact upon the quality of the editorial. In fact, the money saved on printing will be invested in enhancing the digital footprints of FORCE. We are expanding our YouTube channel. In the coming weeks, there will be more diverse content on it.
