DRDO’s Rustom 2 Successfully Flight Tested With Higher Power Engine
The test flight assumes significance due to the fact that this is the first flight in user configuration with a higher power engine.
India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) successfully completed the test flight of its Rustom 2 drone on February 25 at its Aeronautical Test Range(ATR) at Chalakere in Chitradurga (Karnataka).
The test flight assumes significance due to the fact that this is the first flight in user configuration with a higher power engine. The drone is part of the Rustom line of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) that include Rustom-I, Rustom-H and Rustom-C.
Rustom 2 has been designed and developed by Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) of the DRDO.
