Bharat Forge Becomes First Indian Company to Receive Nadcap Accreditation

Bharat Forge’s Aerospace Business Division has become the first organization to successfully achieve the Nadcap accreditation for Metallic Materials Manufacturing. The certification is a testimony for the “continued commitment to quality that will pave the path for new and enhanced business opportunities with better control over the manufacturing process ensuring ‘Zero Defect’ compliance.”

“Compliance is a mindset; it is more than a goal as it requires ongoing effort. While a Nadcap audit is a defined moment in time for which Auditees prepare in advance, creating and maintaining a culture of compliance within an organization is a constant endeavour and often a thankless task. Consequently, and in recognition of their hard work, I am delighted to congratulate Bharat Forge for achieving Nadcap accreditation,” said President and Chief Executive Officer, David Schutt, at the Performance Review Institute.

A press statement from the company added, “The aim of the Nadcap programme is to assess process capability for compliance to industry standards and customer requirements. By achieving Nadcap accreditation, Bharat Forge has demonstrated their compliance and set higher benchmarks for the industry.”
