ideaForge Delivers Drone-as-a-Service Across 10+ Industries and Govt Sectors

ideaForge
Technology Limited recently announced the successful deployment of FLYGHT, its
Drone-as-a-Service (DaaS) model, across more than 10 industries and government
sectors. Since its launch in 2022, the DaaS model has evolved into a
full-stack, app-based platform delivering real-time aerial intelligence and
analytics. The service has witnessed a year-on-year increase in demand, driven
by the growing acceptance of drone technologies for tactical and operational
insights. Leveraging AI-driven analytics, the platform moves beyond simple
video feeds to deliver actionable, decision-ready intelligence.
The company first served the Uttarakhand government under
this model, deploying Q6 V2 UAV for law enforcement, public safety, and urban
city management. The deployment enabled real-time insights for crowd
monitoring, traffic management, issuance of challans, encroachment tracking,
parking management, and aerial mapping etc. Post this, ideaForge has served
multiple industries through DaaS. In mining, deployments have supported
stockpile management, pilferage detection, and mine safety, including instances
where tunnel theft was identified through aerial surveillance whereas in the
power sector, the service helped detecting structural corrosion and vegetation
encroachment along high-tension lines. The platform has also been deployed
across sectors such as oil and gas, ports, fisheries, solar farm, IT and Real
Estate tracking construction progress, coastal and wildlife monitoring, and
forest surveillance etc. The model has recently evolved to integrate with
C-DAC’s Emergency Response Support Systems (ERSS), allowing for ‘Automated
Aerial Dispatch’ where drones can reach an incident site within minutes of a
distress call.
ideaForge has provided DAAS to some of the marquee
companies like Adani, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), Eastern Coalfields
Limited (ECL), Vedanta, SIS Limited etc.
Explaining the growth of the DaaS model, AGM of product
management at deaForge Technology, Sachin Pukale says, “We developed our DaaS
model because we realised that while organisations need aerial intelligence,
managing a drone fleet isn’t core to their business. Our pay-per-use approach
makes advanced drone capabilities accessible and outcome-focused. This has now
evolved into FLYGHT, an app-based ecosystem that automates everything from
on-demand booking to deployment, advanced data analytics and incident workflow
management. With strong adoption across diverse sectors, it’s clear that organisations
want real-time, actionable insights rather than just data. By offering ‘eyes in
the sky,’ we are delivering the continuous situational awareness required for
seamless on-ground operations.”
The company has been first to introduce the App-based
Drone Franchise model in the country. This is a hybrid strategy where ideaForge
developed DGCA-certified hardware, and the FLYGHT software is used by local
franchise partners to manage the ground operations.
