Gorkha representatives put forward their demands to the MHA
Grappling with issues concerning the Gorkha
community, the ministry of home affairs (MHA) held a meeting with Gorkha
representatives in New Delhi recently. During the meeting, chaired by Union
minister of state for home affairs, Nityanand Rai, the Gorkha delegation led by
Darjeeling MP Raju Bista, highlighted various issues related to Gorkhas and the
region and urged for early resolution of the problems.
