Centum Research and Technology, a Spain-based company specialising in search and rescue, surveillance, and emergency communication, and Globaz Technologies Pvt. Ltd., an Indian company active in defence and aerospace systems integration, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the World Defence Show 2026 in Riyadh.
The MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between the two companies to explore potential collaboration opportunities in India, with a particular focus on maritime surveillance, security missions and emergency communication, including Centum’s flagship easyCatcher, Cellair, LifeSeeker and Nojamzone.
The agreement marks the first step toward a shared objective of leveraging Centum’s proven operational experience and proprietary technologies alongside Globaz Technologies’ strong local presence and insight into the Indian defence ecosystem.
Under the MoU, the Parties will work together on technical familiarisation, training activities and initial market engagement, as well as exploratory discussions with relevant institutional stakeholders. This structured approach is intended to build mutual understanding, align operational concepts and assess how best to address real operational needs in the region.
“India represents a strategic and highly relevant market for Centum, with evolving security and surveillance requirements. Through our engagement with Globaz Technologies, we look forward to introducing solutions such as EasyCatcher, CellAir, LifeSeeker, and NoJamZone, and to exploring how these systems can support operational users in complex environments,” said founder & executive president, Centum, Javier Chamorro.
“We are pleased to engage with Centum and to represent a portfolio of advanced and operationally relevant technologies. Centum’s solutions address critical challenges faced by defence and security forces today. This engagement provides a solid framework for technical evaluation, local integration, and meaningful engagement with end users in India,” said director, Globaz Technologies Pvt Ltd., Karan Wilkhoo.
The MoU reflects the parties’ shared intention to work together and serves as a first step towards potential future agreements, subject to further discussions and mutual alignment.
