In order to strengthen its role as a key maritime power, Indian Navy along with actively engaging in strategic partnerships and collaborations with global navies, has also been making significant strides in modernising its capabilities with state-of-the-art weapon systems guided by government of India’s ‘Aatmanirbharta in Defence’ vision. Indian Navy is currently pursuing an unprecedented naval expansion and modernisation plan in order to strengthen its overall capabilities and safeguard its security interest on the high seas.
