BEL, CENTUM Ink MoU to Indigenously Develop Advanced Tech Critical to Nation’s Defence

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) and Centum Electronics Limited (CENTUM), a global provider of Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) solutions, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the design, development and manufacturing of advanced electronic modules, subsystems and systems for defence electronics specifically targeting critical technology domains such as electronic warfare (EW), radar systems and secure military communications. This strategic partnership aims to strengthen efforts towards fostering indigenous design and production capabilities in advanced technology domains critical to national defence.

Director (marketing), BEL, Suresh Kumar KV and CMD, CENTUM, Apparao V Mallavarapu exchanged the MoU documents in the presence of CMD, BEL, Manoj Jain and president, Centum Electronics Limited, Dr Vinod Chippalkatti at BEL Corporate Office on August 19.
