Airbus Secures Historic Order for India’s first H175 and two ACH160s

Airbus Corporate Helicopters has signed an order for two ACH160 helicopters and one H175 with a private Indian customer. The operator is an existing ACH160 customer and will become India’s first H175 customer.
Marking the introduction of the super-medium twin-engine helicopter into the Indian civil market, the H175 helicopter will come in a 16-seat configuration with delivery scheduled for 2026. The two ACH160 helicopters will be exclusively configured as per customer’s requirements and will be delivered in 2027.
“This repeat order for the two ACH160s and the first-ever H175 by an Indian customer reflects the maturity that the civil helicopter market is gaining in the country. Both helicopters are ideally suited to support passenger transport and offer superior performance and great comfort. We congratulate the customer on their choice and are thankful to them for the confidence they have placed in our products,” said head of Airbus Helicopters in India and South Asia, Sunny Guglani.
Designed with reliability in mind, the ACH160 represents an impressive combination of power and elegance. Backed by cutting-edge technology, the ACH160 allows business leaders to bridge time and reach, enabling impactful decisions where it matters, when it matters.
The super medium H175 complements Airbus Helicopters’ civil portfolio with its versatility, range and payload capabilities. Combined with the lowest vibration and sound signature in its class, and advanced Helionix safety systems, the H175 delivers exceptional comfort and safety for passenger transportation.
