French Air Force Chief Meets Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa in Delhi

General André Lanata’s visit comes after the visit of Chief of Staff of the US Air Force General David L Goldfein.

Chief of Staff of the French Air Force, General André Lanata met Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa on February 5. The visit comes after the visit of Chief of Staff of the US Air Force General David L Goldfein on February 1. General Lanata inspected the Guard of Honour on his arrival at Air Headquarters in New Delhi.




Earlier in October 2017, Paris and New Delhi had announced their decision to increase military cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. In particular, France and India aim to improve military-to-military relations, counter-terror cooperation and their ability to develop arms systems jointly under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
