Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation brings a range of its products to Aero India
Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation will showcase various samples of military equipment of the S-400 ‘Triumf’ long-range surface-to-air missile system which is designed to engage modern and future means of aerospace attack (AAM). Among the targets of the S-400 system are ECM aircraft, aerial picket aircraft, direction aircraft, reconnaissance aircraft (including those that are part of reconnaissance-strike complexes), tactical and theatre ballistic missiles, medium-range ballistic missiles, stealth aircraft, and other AAM in a heavy ECM environment.
Also, as part of the exposition Almaz-Antey will present ‘Tor’ short-range surface-to-air missile systems (SAMS), a self-contained ‘Tor-M2KM’ fighting module (static and towed versions), tracked ‘Tor-E2’ and wheeled ‘Tor‑M2K’ systems. The ‘Tor’ systems are used to provide air defence for critical facilities and ground troops, in positions and on the march, against aircraft, helicopters, cruise, anti-radar and other guided missiles, flying and guided aircraft bombs, as well as UAVs in adverse weather conditions and heavy ECM environment. The deployment time of these SAMSs from ‘march’ to ‘combat’ position does not exceed three minutes. The ‘Tor’ systems are highly mobile, easy to operate and cost-effective. These systems can hit targets on the move, which distinguishes it from other similar systems.
Another piece of armament to be presented by Almaz–Antey at the exposition is the ‘Typhoon-PVO(E)’ MANPADS combat vehicle for air defence troops. This combat vehicle is mounted on the KAMAZ-4386 armoured vehicle and is designed to provide close-in protection of army units against means of aerospace attack in all types of combat, including on the march. The ‘Typhoon-PVO(E)’ combat vehicle is equipped with the ‘Akveduk’ radio set, ‘Azimut’ navigation equipment, and ‘Kord’ machine gun. The combat vehicle can transport ammunition and five servicemen: a squad leader, two AA snipers, a machine gunner, and a driver-electrician.
Our visitors will also see a model of small MSP-418K jamming station for MiG-29 aircraft. This station is designed for individual and individual and mutual protection by creating deliberate active jamming of radioelectronic weapon controls. The MSP-418K station can also be integrated into other Russian and foreign-made aircraft.
Among other samples of military equipment, Almaz-Antey will also present its L203 series active jamming station (‘Gardenia’). This is the first time the details about this station will be disclosed to public. The ‘Gardenia’ station is designed to protect aircraft against ‘air-to-air’ and ‘surface-to-air’ radio-guided weapons.
Another piece of equipment to be demonstrated by Almaz-Antey will be the ‘Redicom’ mobile repair and diagnostic equipment set. It is designed for maintenance and repair of air defence weapons and military equipment in field conditions.
The visitors can know more about sea-based air defence systems from specialists of the Corporation. For visitors’ attention, the Corporation has prepared various materials on sea-based ‘Shtil-1’, ‘Resurs’, ‘Rif-M’ SAMSs; sea-based anti-ship missile systems ‘Moskit-E’ and ‘Moskit-MVE’, and ‘Podzagolovok-24E’ mutual interference avoidance system. These materials will be available for all visitors to view in the exhibition booth of the Corporation.
The visitors can also learn about a wide range of radar stations: ‘Gamma-S1TE’, ‘Kasta-VME’, ‘Istra-E’, ‘Podlet-K1KE’, ‘Furke-E’, ‘Vitim’, ‘Podsolnukh-E’, 1L121E, 1L122E, 1L125E, and ‘Voprosnik-E’ multi-mode secondary radar.
The Concern not only plans to hold meetings with their partners during the exhibitions but would also like to meet potential new customers. The Corporation is ready to provide services for modernization and maintenance of previously supplied equipment.
