Lockheed Martin Appoints Vivek Lall as Vice President

He led the path breaking agreement by the White House to release category 1 UAV’s to India, a non-NATO country, in 2017

Vivek Lall, 48, was appointed Vice President of Strategy and Business Development at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in January 2018. Prior to this appointment, he was Chief Executive in charge of U.S. and International Strategic Development at General Atomics since 2014.

He led the path breaking agreement by the White House to release category 1 UAV’s to India, a non-NATO country, in 2017. He was also President and CEO of Reliance Industries Limited in India.

He was appointed as Vice President and Country Head, Boeing Defense Space & Security in May 2007 where he led a team to conclude the path breaking and largest ever US-India defense deals for C17 strategic lift, P-8I anti submarine warfare aircraft and harpoon missiles.

He earned his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Carleton University in Canada and a Masters of Aeronautical Engineering degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida. He also has his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Wichita State University in Kansas and his MBA from City University in Seattle. He has also completed management and executive courses at the American Management Association in Washington DC.

Cambridge (UK) has listed him as one of only 2000 Outstanding Scientists of the Twentieth Century.
