The first batch of Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management (PGDAM) passed out from HAL Management Academy (HMA).
The certificates were awarded to 31 students, out of whom, Kiran Nellore and Vineeth Vijayan secured gold medals for the best academic performance and best overall performance, respectively. M. Raviprakash bagged the best project award.
The objective of the AICTE approved, 15-month PGDAM programme is to bridge the gap between industry and academia which in turn would help in strengthening the aerospace eco-system in India.
Prof Debashis Chatterjee, Director IIM-Kozhikode, was the chief guest at the convocation. He appreciated HAL for introducing the unique programme relevant to the industry.
P S Bhoopathy, ED (HR)- HMA presided over the program and a large number of HAL officials, external faculty members, students and their families attended the programme.
