CNS Admiral Karambir Singh Visits Western Naval Command at Mumbai

The CNS went onboard INS Kalveri, and visited the New Dry Dock at Naval Dockyard, where he was briefed by the Director General Naval Projects

Admiral Karambir Singh, Chief of the Naval Staff, arrived at Mumbai on 20 August 2019 for his maiden visit to the Western Naval Command. The Admiral was received by FOCINC West at the command headquarters and briefed on various activities and operational readiness of the command, the Indian Navy said in a statement on August 21




The CNS also went onboard the latest submarine INS Kalveri, and visited the New Dry Dock at Naval Dockyard, where he was briefed on-site by the Director General Naval Projects. The CNS visited various units at Karanja and reviewed the state of infrastructure and facilities at the naval station, the statement by the navy added.
