Airbus BizLab will Facilitate 7 Start-ups in Season 2 of its Business Accelerator Programme

Airbus BizLab launched the second season of its start-up accelerator programme in Bengaluru. This season seven start-ups have been selected out of 137 applicants from nine countries.

The occasion felt the presence of the visiting French minister for foreign affairs and international development, Jean-Marc Ayrault, with him Alexandre Ziegler, ambassador of France to India and Francois Gautier, Consul General of France. “The overwhelming response and participation to the call for applications, the quality of ideas and the passion of entrepreneurs, it’s just quite something. Each start-up we have selected carries the potential to shape the future of aerospace. Our job is to help them realise their potential,” said Bruno Gutierres, Global Head, Airbus BizLab.

In total, seven start-ups will be facilitated out of which five - Earth2Orbit, Neewe, eFlight Stelae, Technologies and SYmbosim are from Bengaluru. Other two are Accelo from Mumbai and Innovative Binaries from Singapore.

Earth2Orbit creates GeoIntelligence data products that leverage satellite imagery to provide location specific commercial, economic, environmental and social intelligence in a cost-effective manner.

eFlight helps pilots to access eFlight’s cloud hosted website and App 24x7 and calculates precise fuel burn based on latest winds. Neewee is an Industrial Analytics company and offers extensive use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms to detect and diagnose issues with industrial assets.
