What aspect of your business is your primary focus at this show, and why?
This year at DefExpo we will continue to focus on Rolls-Royce’s partnership and our strong commitment for the Indian market. However, for Rolls-Royce all businesses are equal priority sectors. At the core of our programmes is technology. In 2015, we invested GBP 1.2bn in gross R&D. It is this investment that creates the intellectual property we then develop and embed in our products. Over 15,690 engineers ensure that we benefit from the knowledge of renowned experts in their fields, and get the best value from our investment.
What are your expectations from the show?
We have been present in India for the past eight decades and have been contributing to the development and modernisation of Indian armed forces. We believe that DefExpo is an important platform to showcase our capabilities and also network with our customers, partners etc.
